How to stay on top of your emails

Here are the basics on how to manage your conversations in Polymail and keep your inbox clean. It's simple!

What do I do when I'm done with an email?

Archive the message! (Just tap e, or click the archive button in Polymail), if you get a new message on the conversation, it'll pop right back into your inbox!

What if I want to tackle this message later?

What if you want to respond to this, or see this email later? Just pop up the command center and type "later", and you can choose a time to have this email show back up in your inbox. If you want to be really fast you can just use the hotkey (⌘ + d, for date)

Your email will pop up to the top of your inbox, when the date comes, or you can find that email in your Read Later folder on the left sidebar!

What if I don't need the email?

If it's not important, you can just delete it! Tap the delete key on your keyboard, or click the delete icon to send that conversation to your trash folder.

What if I want to stop a newsletter?

If it's really not important, and you want to stop receiving messages, you can unsubscribe by clicking the unsubscribe button at the top right or through your command center (⌘ J)

Some people won't stop emailing me!

No problem! The quickest way to give the treatment it deserves is to mark the message as spam: "⌘ J and just type "spam", and send them on their way.

What if I want to store this email in a special folder?

You can also move an email to a label by typing "label" in your command center (⌘ J), or by using the hotkey L. From here you can select a label to add this conversation to.

That's all there is to it!
